A No-Kill Animal Shelter
Animal Trackers, a registered charity in operation since 1992, is an all-volunteer, NO-KILL animal shelter devoted to the rescue and shelter of lost, abandoned, orphaned and injured animals. Animals from all over Ontario are protected in our unique, 4,200 sq. ft. residential and cageless facility with 24-hour on-premise care. All animals remain in our care until such time as they are adopted. We have re-united thousands of lost pets with their original owners and adopted hundreds of pets into new and loving homes. Animals with various disabilities or who were simply rejected by the public, remain under our care for life.

Animal Trackers has assisted and/or sheltered over 8,690 animals including wildlife. We shelter no less than 80 animals with the highest capacity rising to 169 during the peak rescue season, April-October.

We do not offer animals for research projects nor do we sell our supporters' list for monetary gain. All supporters remain anonymous unless otherwise requested.

Animal Trackers offers various other services to the communities:
• Pet Food Banks: we generously share all donated pet foods with seniors and families on fixed incomes.
• Pet Therapy Visitations: as in the past, we continue to offer comfort to seniors and Alzheimer's patients.
• Educational Programs: teaching school children responsible pet ownership; general health, nutrition and veterinarian advice, understanding the pet overpopulation crisis and dealing with Anti-Cruelty issues.

Animal Trackers does not insist on specific "fees" for taking in unwanted animals as we believe this greatly reduces said "dumping" of animals, however, we do ask for any type of financial assistance or barter for goods required by the sanctuary. We do not receive any type of government funding. Our financial records are included in our newsletters and/or are available upon request. 100% of all contributions are directed solely towards the welfare of the animals.

Donations of $25 or more receive an official income tax receipt.
